Oranje supporters head to South Africa

Additional flights to South Africa for Friday's World Cup quarterfinals will be arranged by Oad travel organisation. About 250 Oranje supporters will be making the trek to support the Dutch compete against Brazil.
The excursion will last for four days and run nearly 2,000 per person including hotels and transfers.
Oad marketing director, Wim Gramsma said the last minute flights were not easy to arrange. "We have much to do. The flight capacity to South Africa is limited and this is reflected in the prices of hotels and transfers," he says, explaining the high price.
Oad also supports cultural aspects of the journey. "We try to educate people in anything they'd like to see in South Africa, offering several trips," he says.
The outcome of the Dutch match against Brazil remains a guessing game, but Oad is optimistic. Should the national team make it to the semifinals, they hope to bring another wave of Dutch supporters to South Africa in cooperation with KLM.
"I think we will go on, I have a good feeling about it," says Gramsma. Enthusiastic bookers however will have to await news from Africa. "The additional aircraft will only leave when the Netherlands makes the semifinal," he says.
