A well known Amsterdam mural by graffiti artists the London Police must be removed. The city council says the artwork creates a "serious disfigurement" of the city.

The year-old piece on the corner of the Prinsengracht and Tuinstraat shows the collective's signature black and white dolls towering over a garden area.

The municpality says it would like to consult with local  home owners about how to redesign the mural.
